letter to Mayor(Ghaziabad) about deplorable condition of our colony due to Nagar Nigam

Dear Mayor Sahaab,

I am writing this letter on behalf of the residents of Krishna enclave, west Model Town, Ghaziabad. Since last two months we are suffering from the deplorable conditions of the roads and the infrastructure in our colony.

Infrastructure plays a very vital role in the development of a nation but we the residents of West Model town are facing the difficulties due to poor infrastructure. In our colony there are more than 400+ houses and about thousands of people, kids living in them.

Since last few months, roads have been dugged many times for the laying down of gas pipeline, sewer line, high tension electricity line but no one bothered to construct them back. even after several requests to Nagar nigan nothing has been done so far.

Small kids are forced to play in dirt, causing infection and many diseases thereafter. School children routinely have to cross dangerous roads to get to school. Drivers have to dodge patholes  with regularity and spend a lot of money on alignment and other damages to their vehicles caused by patholes. Old people are suffering from various breathing problem due to dust and poorly maintained roads.

Roads are so poorly done that traffic jams are a routine scene which cause delay in reaching office and school on time. Due to poorly maintained roads economic activities has come to a halt.

Even after months and continuous requesting to Nagar Nigam nothing has been done which has grossed the problems of the residents. Therefore we request you to kindly look into the matter and please spare your valuable time for us. We have tried several times to meet you but nothing has been done so far.

Sapna Garg
resident of West Model Town, Krishna Enclave,
